Tyler is here to share his 3 favorite exercise to improve balance!
Exercise #1 is a Single Leg Balance Hold. Simple stand on one foot and balance! Work your way up to 20 seconds on each side for each progression.
Exercise #2 is a Step Up to Balance. Pick a step or box that is 6-18” depending on your currently balance and strength level. Make sure to keep the weight in your front foot. Hold balance on the box for 3-5 seconds. Repeat for 8-10 reps each side.
Exercise #3 is a Single Leg Pick Up. Place a ball or other object on a stable surface. Start on one leg and bend over to pick up the ball. Stand back up and balance on one leg for 3-5 seconds before setting the ball back down. Repeat this for 8-10 reps on each side.
Which of these 3 exercises are you going to try first?
