Strength Training for Runners New

Fitness Level: Starter to Intermediate. Build power and speed with the use of free weights, body weight and plyometrics. The program will incorporate and focus on core exercises.

Basketball Camp (Grade 7-12) New

This NEW, fun, and exciting Basketball Camp will be run by Oakland University standout and European League Professional, Olivia Nash. This clinic is made to help players get a better understanding of the game as well as improving themselves on and off the court. Athletes will be lead through many different drills and games.

DATES: July 23 – July 26
TIME: 2 – 3:30 pm for 7- 9th grades,  3:30 – 5pm for 10th– 12th grades

CPR / First Aid Training

Red Cross course consist of 6 hours of basic CPR training for adult and pediatric, First Aide & AED training. Learn how to help in emergency situations. Ages 14 & up. All classes are mandatory.

Class A: June 11 – 15, M/W/F 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Class B: Aug 6- 10,  M/W/F 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Basketball Personal Training (Youth) New

Basketball Personal Training is for school-aged athletes. The training is made up of drills that challenge mental and physical skills to help athletes prepare for the sport they love. The sessions will be led by Oakland University standout and European League Professional, Olivia Nash.

After School Activities Club (Age 5-10)

A safe and fun place for your child after school. It includes fun projects, gym or outdoor games, swim lessons or instruction, nutritious snack and homework time/guidance. Bussing is available to the YMCA by local schools. Enrollment is limited, call to preregister to hold your child’s spot.

Fitness Level: Starter, Intermediate to Advanced

Y fit is strength and conditioning program that describes itself as “constantly varied functional movements scaled to your fitness level” This program stands for functional intense training which combines aerobic exercise, body weight exercises, and Olympic weight lifting. Limit 15.
