IRON MOUNTAIN – Triston Trevillian, Sierra Tatangelo and Weston Trevillian led a contingent of Northern Lights YMCA swimmers with victories at Door County Hawaiian Invitational youth swim meet at the Door County YMCA.

Trevillian, age 11, won the 500 freestyle, a new event for him. Tatangelo, age 8, took the 200 free by breaking her second NLYMCA team record with a 3:15.22. Eight year old Weston Trevillian claimed the 25 butterfly.

“We always have great competition in Door County and it really challenges our swimmers to do their best,” NLYMCA head coach Aimee Tatangelo said. “I’m really proud of how hard they have been working in practice and their continual improvements show their hard work pays off!”

Along with the trio listed above, NLYMCA also had several additional swimmers show time improvements.
