Parkinson’s Cycling Free

We know that fast-paced cycling is changing the lives of increasing numbers of participants who, before this, had no hope beyond medication and eventually surgery to slow the progression of the disease. So PEDAL TO LIVE BETTER! This is not a cure and not meant to be one but can reduce the symptoms tremendously.

DAY: Tuesday & Thursdays

Autism Support Group Free

The Northern Lights YMCA–Dickinson Center, along with Dickinson/Iron Intermediate School District and Dickinson County Healthcare System are pleased to partner to offer a Parent/Child Autism Support Group.

The purpose of this group is to bring parents and children together for support, ideas, and encouragement. This group meets four times during the school year. There will also be an activity for children while parents connect.

AGES: All Ages
COST: $0 Members & General Public

Triathlon Training

Is it your first Triathlon? Are you a seasoned Veteran?  Our experienced coaches will help you reach your goals and offer plenty of support. Everyone welcome!

Price includes four days a week training for three months April thru June.

If swimming is not your thing, train for the DUATHLON that will consist of a run, bike, run.

Begins April 3rd

  • Thurs & Sun (Swim), 6 – 6:45 pm
  • Saturday (Cycling), 9 – 9:45 am

Youth Fitness Center Orientation Free for Members

AGES: 12-15.  To use the fitness center, all youth ages 12-15 are required to attend this class.  Parent must be present.

Small Group Training Classes

Work out with a certified Personal Trainer in small groups of 2 to 5 members. Take part in customized training sessions that are fun and challenging. Cost includes a pre and post assessment. Get fit with your friends at an affordable price! Small group sessions meet for 55 minutes twice per week for 5 weeks (10 sessions). You pick your group, days, time, and your trainer! Fitness YOUR way!

Health Risk Appraisal Free for Members

As a FREE benefit of membership, The YMCA, with our partners at Dickinson County Healthcare System, are able to provide our members a personalized wellness service by offering Health Risk Appraisals. It includes blood pressure, cholesterol, and glucose checks along with a personal report of your health profile. These events are conducted quarterly, and each member is eligible for one FREE HRA per year.

The tentative 2018 dates for HRA are Jan 31, May 2, July 25, Oct 31

Adult Fitness Center Orientation Free for Members

Free to all new members. Go over proper usage of the equipment as well as basic strength training principles and weight machine adjustments.  Each session lasts between 1-2 hours.

WHEN: Tuesdays at 5:30 or 6:30 PM or by appointment.

AGES: ADULTS (16 and up)
